Evans wants to “close that gap” to Ogier at WRC Estonia
Evans sits 34 points behind Ogier in the race for this year’s drivers’ title. Ogier is going in search of his eight WRC title, while Evans’ best finish came in 2020, where he finished runner-up to his seven-time world champion teammate. Ogier has won four of the first six events compared with one victory for Evans in Portugal. The gap was just 11 points before Evans’ early exit in Kenya last month. Next up for WRC is Rally Estonia, with home hero Ott Tänak enjoying an impressive record over the years.
