The face of the World Rally Car is set to change following the release of technical and homologation vision for the period 2017-19. The principles of the regulations for the 2017-2019 WRC car were approved by the World Motor Sport Council following its meeting in Mexico City this week, with a clear intention to produce a car with a far more dynamic and distinct appearance 'that exhibits character and diversity'.
